Tip: Students can save time and money with Advanced Placement (AP)
High School students planning to go to college can save both time and money by taking Advanced Placement Exams. Advanced Placements Courses and Exams are offered by many High Schools nationwide. Some High Schools also offer Online Advanced Placement Courses. These courses, in about 25 subject areas, are faster-paced, college-level courses. After
completing the courses and Advanced Placement Exams (AP Exams),
students can get both High School and college credit, and they
don't have to take equivalent courses again when attending college.
In many colleges and universities, thousands of new students
entering college begin as Sophomores and above. Thanks to the
Advanced Placement, each student can save his/her time and
tens of thousands of dollars in tuition and costs of living.
High School students should check with their High School
counselors and colleges or universities where they plan to
enroll for approved Advanced Placement Courses and Exams.
